Fukuoka to the world
Developed with NUNA9, Yoyopop and Nishitetsu Agency, this cultural campaign set out to draw visitors from China, Korea and across the Asia-Pacific to Fukuoka, exploring the connections that link neighbouring cultures.
Rooted in the Japanese concept of 縁 (En), the story reimagines Fukuoka’s ancient Munakata goddesses as three contemporary figures: a baseball player, a skateboarder and a surfer. Mythology meets modern culture in a film shaped by the city, its people and its energy.
Klash Boom Bang delivered the sound design and music mastering, bringing the final audio into balance with the film’s layered animation and visual detail. The finished piece was presented on Tenjin One Vision, an 11 × 2 metre screen in the heart of Fukuoka, bringing the story to life on a monumental scale.
